As if it were needed but here is another good reason to surround yourself with plants – research from the University of Illinois has shown that nature is “essential to the physical, psychological and social well-being of humans.” People who have access to plants live longer and feel happier. In Japan, they even have something called “forest bathing” or “shinrin-yoku” to be precise – now, doesn’t that sound appealing!
